Choosing the Right Toothpaste

When I go to the dentist, I learnt a new lesson about how to choose the right toothpaste for me. Well, I believe that this topic is the most underrated topic in health especially oral health section. Sometimes we are interested with the funny and catchy commercial ads of toothpaste, so we decided to buy and use that toothpaste. For some other reason, people will usually never buy the toothpaste which is different from the toothpaste that they had been use since they were a teen. This reflects that people do not pay attention about what toothpaste they have or they must use.

What I learnt from my dentist is to avoid buying toothpaste that having a substance I should stay away from. Let get this clearer; if I want to clear my bad breath, I should avoid buying toothpaste that contains baking soda. Why? The reason is that baking soda is a drying agent and it will obviously dry out your mouth and it is the trigger to bad breath.

::. Nothing is perfect

Yes, nothing is perfect, so does toothpaste. If you want to keep your teeth white, you should find the toothpaste that has peroxide as the base ingredients inside. Peroxide acts like a bleaching agent which is able to remove deep stains on your teeth surface. However, if you don’t keep your diet, that stains will always accumulate on your teeth surface and eventually the peroxide is not able to handle it anymore. That’s why keeping your diet is also important besides choosing the right toothpaste for you. If you are inconvenient with your yellow teeth you may go to your dentist to do some teeth whitening process using laser.
