Do you care about your oral health? If you don’t you might be read through this article. This article will show and explain you why underrate your oral health can make a massive bad effect for your overall health. The question is how to measure someone care about his or her oral health? Is it enough mere brushing teeth twice a day after having breakfast and before going to bed at night? Unfortunately it is not that simple, you need more action to keep your oral health in good level.

Some steps that often being forgotten is to visit dentist at least twice a day. Why this is necessary? Because many problems or diseases occur around oral like teeth problems, tonsil, and many else don’t have noticeable symptoms. Some of them don’t leave any pain, blood or other bad feeling; that’s why visiting your dentist at least twice a day is very important. Secondly, people often go above the limit. I mean they don’t watch their diet. Don’t drink coffee too often, and smoking is a bad idea too.

Get back to our topic about the connection between your oral health and your entire health; the question is why underrate oral health can affect overall health? Let’s get this clear, mouth contains more bacteria than any organ in our body does. Imagine if those dangerous bacteria enter you bloodstream. That’s why you need to look after your mouth carefully. Always watch your diet, brush your teeth twice a day, and visit your dentist twice a day will always keep your oral health in good level.

When I go to the dentist, I learnt a new lesson about how to choose the right toothpaste for me. Well, I believe that this topic is the most underrated topic in health especially oral health section. Sometimes we are interested with the funny and catchy commercial ads of toothpaste, so we decided to buy and use that toothpaste. For some other reason, people will usually never buy the toothpaste which is different from the toothpaste that they had been use since they were a teen. This reflects that people do not pay attention about what toothpaste they have or they must use.

What I learnt from my dentist is to avoid buying toothpaste that having a substance I should stay away from. Let get this clearer; if I want to clear my bad breath, I should avoid buying toothpaste that contains baking soda. Why? The reason is that baking soda is a drying agent and it will obviously dry out your mouth and it is the trigger to bad breath.

::. Nothing is perfect

Yes, nothing is perfect, so does toothpaste. If you want to keep your teeth white, you should find the toothpaste that has peroxide as the base ingredients inside. Peroxide acts like a bleaching agent which is able to remove deep stains on your teeth surface. However, if you don’t keep your diet, that stains will always accumulate on your teeth surface and eventually the peroxide is not able to handle it anymore. That’s why keeping your diet is also important besides choosing the right toothpaste for you. If you are inconvenient with your yellow teeth you may go to your dentist to do some teeth whitening process using laser.

It’s been a common mistake for almost all parents in the world not to care about their kid’s oral health, especially the dental hygiene of their young kids. Many parents are not aware that oral health care starts at infancy. We all know that little child can’t maintain their oral health especially their dental hygiene by himself. As a parent, it is an obligation to keep their child healthy not only the body but also the oral section. Here are simple guide to maintain your kid’s oral health:

Encourage healthy eating habit
the fundamental part is to encourage healthy eating habit to your children. Teach them how to brush their teeth, floss their teeth, and gargling. It is also important to keep their diet suitable with their teeth ability. Healthy habit also related to take your children to the dentist at least twice a year. Once your children have got used to it, it is easier to let them do their obligation in maintaining their oral health.

Kids like sweet and tasteful toothpaste
obviously; the toothpaste for kids and the one for adult have different formula to each other. The texture, the formula, and the color make them different. If your kids are lazy to brush their teeth, try to use flavored fluoride toothpaste to encourage them brush their teeth.

<The brushing rules
while you are teaching your children to tooth their brush, don’t forget to teach them the proper way. Consult your dentist about how to brush teeth correctly, because most people don’t know the correct way to brush their teeth. Also if your child is under 6 years old, don’t use too many toothpaste, use pea-sized toothpaste for a single tooth brushing.

X radiations or well known as X-Ray has large benefits for every section of human beings; from energy until health. In health we all know that the implementation from X-ray is called Radiograph (Roentgenographs) which is invented by Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen. Most of us have known that the most common implementation of x-ray in health section is bones fracture identification or maybe lungs identification, but just a few of us knew that X-ray can also safeguard your oral health.

Actually there are so many types of x-rays implementation in oral health section. This article will cover some most important:

   1. Identify tooth decays.
Of course we could not see a small and tiny pit located on our teeth, or backside of our teeth with bare eyes, with x-ray the dentist can identify your tooth decays as soon as possible.
2. Revealing cancer in gums
Gum cancer is very dangerous. Please be aware with these symptoms of gum cancer: gum pain, gum swelling, gum ulceration, gum mass, and gum bleeding. Immediately go to your dentist to check your gums once you have these symptoms, preventing is better than healing.
3. Identify infection in nerve death or root canal
Root canal actually is space within the root of a tooth. But it also refers to dental operation like the pulp of a tooth is cleaned out and then filled.

These days, oral health becomes more popular in large society. Previously people are lazy to go to the dentist at least one time in six month. People are lazy to check their oral health to dentist because of several reasons. First, the expensive cost we have to pay just to check our oral health to the expert dentist. Secondly, we think that we don’t need check up our oral health because we don’t have any problem with it. We just fine when we eat something hot, and we just fine when we eat something cold.

In this article, I want to focus on the phenomenon that people stay away from dentist because of the expensive cost they have to pay. Believe me that there are simple steps to maintain your oral health. You don’t need to pay for the expensive cost to do those steps, but all you need is just your consistency on doing these steps regularly.

Here are some simple steps to maintain your oral health:

1. First and the most important: don’t ever share your toothbrush with anyone. This is very nasty to imagine, and also very dirty if we look on the health side. Sharing toothbrush with someone else enlarge the possibilities of oral disease emerge on your mouth. The worst effect is if the one you share your toothbrush with is AIDS suffer, the probability for you get infected.
2. Use Fluoride toothpaste
Fluoride toothpaste is very useful to keep your teeth clean and strong. The finest combination is to use fluoride toothpaste and brush your teeth using soft and new toothbrush. Don’t forget to periodically change your toothbrush whether it’s every 2 months or every 3 months.
3. Flossing your teeth may help
if you think that cleaning your teeth with toothbrush twice per day is not enough, you may floss your teeth for seeing a better result. Floss your teeth with good quality dental floss gently periodically and shortly after doing it; don’t forget to clean your mouth with mouthwash.

Well, pretty easy huh? Those simple steps are very simple, easy and cheap. But I suggest you to visit your dentist at least once in 6 months to maintain your oral health.
